    SPSC Exam Guidelines 2026

Complete guide to SPSC exam rules, application process & policies

📋 Welcome, Aspirants! The Sindh Public Service Commission (SPSC) has established comprehensive guidelines for all examinations. Understanding these rules is essential for a successful application and smooth examination experience. We have compiled all the key guidelines — from application submission to fee payment, age calculation to examination conduct — in one complete guide.

Applying for an SPSC exam requires careful attention to detail. The Commission has specific rules regarding eligibility, fee submission, application deadlines, and examination conduct. Missing even one requirement can lead to disqualification. That's why we've put together this comprehensive guide to help you navigate the process with confidence.

    General Application Guidelines

    1. Online Application Process

    • All applications must be submitted online through the official SPSC website (www.spsc.gos.pk) .
    • Candidates are required to fill out the online application form completely and accurately.
    • Incomplete or incorrectly filled applications will not be accepted .
    • Application forms can be filled in English or Urdu .
    • Applicants must ensure that their CNIC (Computerized National Identity Card) number is correctly entered .
    • The candidate's name as appearing on the CNIC must match the name on the application form .
    📌 Important Note:

The last date for submission of application forms is strictly followed. Applications received after the due date are not entertained under any circumstances .

    2. Fee Submission Guidelines

    • Separate application and separate fee is required for each post advertised by the Commission .
    • The fee must be deposited in any branch of the National Bank of Pakistan in Sindh, State Bank of Pakistan, or a State Treasury authorized to transact business on behalf of the Government of Sindh .

    • The original copy of the Challan or Treasury Receipt must be attached with the application form .
    • Applications not accompanied by the original copy of Challan or Treasury Receipt will be liable for rejection .

No claim or refund of the fee will be entertained by the Commission. Once the fee is deposited, it is non-refundable regardless of the outcome of the application or examination .

    3. Age Limit Calculation

    • The age of candidates is calculated as on the closing date for receipt of applications for each advertisement .
    • General age relaxation is provided as per Government of Sindh rules .
    • The minimum age for most posts is 18 years, while the maximum age varies by post and category .
    • Candidates in government service, ex-defence personnel, and special persons may be eligible for age relaxation as per applicable rules .
    💡 Pro Tip:
